"Rocky Stacy was very involved in the day to day construction process of the Church, thereby providing personal input in the process. Through his diligence and knowledge of the construction process, the members of the Church received a building that was well constructed and will serve them through the years as well as one they can be proud of."

"With Rocky's personal leadership, his service has always provided accurate and timely construction support. Additionally, his awareness of cost containment and quality is without equal. Often, during the initial stages, such as schematic design, he has given 'extra leadership' by keeping all parties focused on items which require attention in order to insure a cost effective quality facility. Rocky is always available to assist and provide any necessary personal construction guidance for any and all projects, even if the project is not his. He has sown excellence in construction, compatibility with clients, other contractors and professionals. One last important note is that Rocky will meet his schedules."

Thank you for your time in reviewing our company for future work in this area. Our company has been in the commercial building business for thirty years in the Marion County and surrounding areas. I am confident that we can save you considerable money on any upcoming project you may consider.
First let me give you a little background on myself and my company. In 1975 I graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in building construction from the College of Architecture and Fine Arts. I hold a state Certified General Contractors license and am bonded. In fact out of approximately 400 general contractors in Marion County only two of us can boast of a bachelor's degree in construction combined with over thirty years of Commercial experience.
My construction background includes all types of building including retail space; doctor's offices; banks, warehouses; car washes; churches; schools; and even a jail. I have worked with every major architectural firm in Marion County and have provided references from many of them with this cover letter.
In our long history of commercial experience my company has built a relationship with the subcontractors and suppliers in the area as well. It is this history in Marion County which benefits my company in securing low job costs which in turn benefits the owner.
Versed in all types of buildings I feel confident that I can work with your people to determine the best use of the property for the best costs. Our knowledge of the building systems and experience would be an asset in the design phase of construction where our expertise would help you find the maximum costs savings for your project. I have done this on each of the projects on which I have worked where I was able to get on board early as the construction manager.
Our cost saving feature unique to our company is that the control and supervision is performed personally by me. Over the years I have discovered that most of the errors in building come from the field superintendent's lack of knowledge or interest in the project as they have no direct liability in the job. I now take on only the amount of work I can personally oversee. My commercial competition all depend upon foremen to run their work which allows them to take on many more projects. However I choose to take on less work volume and not have the employee errors which need constant resolution. This allows me to keep my overhead to a minimum saving my owners approximately $50,000 on a large project as no foreman's salary is factored into the project cost.
I can develop a cost profile for your building with the plans you provide, or I can work on a construction management structure which puts cost control in your hands allowing you more flexibility in the design. I will be happy to explain either of these construction procedures with you in more detail.
As to my personal life I have been married to my wife, Nancy, for 37 years and have three children. Both my wife and I volunteer countless hours in our community while also donating much time to Republican politics. I volunteer as a high school football coach, served as past President of the Marion Co. Horsemen's Assoc. served for with the chamber of Commerce and serve on committees such as Agriculture, Education, Governmental Affairs, and Christmas parade committee. I have also been the Chamber's liaison to the State Greenway Agricultural and Horse Park committee where I have served for the past year.
I also served as the Chairman of the Marion Co. School Bard Construction Advisory Council advising on all school boards spending of their construction dollars. I also served on the Board's selection committee which chooses architects and contractors that build our schools.
I daily strive to be known as an honest man with impeccable character. If you wish to speak to personal friends for a reference please feel free to contact Marion County Florida commissioners Randy Harris; Stan McClain or Charlie Stone; Former State Reps. Dennis Baxley and Cliff Stearns; Kurt Kelly (Fla. State Representative) or even former Governor Jeb Bush.
My architectural references can be provided upon request and I will gladly supply other information. I look forward to the opportunity of working with you to provide you with the most cost effective project to suit your needs.
Sincerely,
Rock
